The Presence of Your Absence is an ongoing typology of hotel rooms. Usually predestined to be occupied by pairs, the rooms emanate a melancholic emptiness. Crumpled bed sheets and half opened curtains are the only indicators of a lingering presence, stressing the transient character of these temporary homes.

The Presence of Your Abscence has been further developed into a
2-channel video installation in collaboration with Sam I-shan and Vivian Wang.
